Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Between University of Malaya and MASET
This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signifies the collaboration between University Malaya (UM), a prestigious university established under the laws of Malaysia, located at Lembah Pantai, 50603 Kuala Lumpur, and the Malaysian Association of Science and Engineering Technology (MASET), a Private Higher Educational Institution established under Malaysian law, with its address at Unit SS-01-03, Skypod Square, Persiaran Puchong Jaya Selatan, Bandar Puchong Jaya, 47100 Puchong, Selangor.
Both institutions, committed to enhancing mutual understanding and fostering collaborations that benefit their respective students and communities, have entered into this MoU as a foundational step toward achieving these shared goals.
Scope and Fields of Academic Cooperation
The Parties agree to collaborate within the framework of their respective institutional regulations and the availability of funds and resources. These collaborative efforts may include, but are not limited to:
- Research and Development.
- Training and Development.
Joint initiatives to drive innovation and expand knowledge through cutting-edge research projects.
Collaborative programs to enhance skills and competencies for students, faculty, and industry professionals.
Implementation of Collaborative Activities
All specific programs or activities under this MoU will be subject to separate written agreements, which will outline the terms and conditions negotiated and agreed upon by both parties or, where applicable, by any third-party stakeholders.
Each Party retains sole discretion regarding the initiation or implementation of any proposed program or activity, ensuring alignment with their respective institutional goals and capacities.
